Thomas Jefferson’s Poplar Forest Architectural History/Architectural Restoration Field School May 15 – May 28, 2016

Chris Buchanan, Restoration Project Coordinator at Ohio Historical Society and a homeowner in the Center Street Historic District here in Ashland, sent me this flyer.  What an excellent opportunity!  This is a program that members of the Ashland Historic Preservation Board should attend in order to better understand preservation and the guidelines put forth in Ashland Ordinance 51-05.
The program is two weeks earlier than usual this year due to the VAF meeting in early June where I'll be delivering a paper on my enslaved craftsmen research. The meeting is in Durham for those who want to check it out. It's the best architectural history meeting to attend and they usually have great regional tours.
